The class discussesd cynicism and what it might mean that the children have become cynical after the guilty verdict in the novel.

Students read chapter 23 and generated a list of the problems that Jem has with the American justice system.

Collage: make a collage for one of the children. Include images which convey who the child is throughout the story.
